Manufacturing Drawings with GD&T

A good model is not enough for the shop floor: machinists and fabricators work from drawings. We turn your 3D models into complete 2D production drawings that a workshop can quote and make from without calling you with questions.

What you get

  • Fully dimensioned part and assembly drawings
  • GD&T and tolerances to your requirements, or general tolerances such as ISO 2768 where you specify them
  • Material, finish and heat-treatment notes
  • Section, detail and auxiliary views where the geometry needs them
  • BOM tables and balloons on assembly drawings
  • Your title block, revision table and sheet sizes

What you can send us

  • SolidWorks parts and assemblies, or STEP / Parasolid / IGES files
  • Your drawing template or title block
  • Any marked-up sketch of critical dimensions and tolerances
  • The standard you work to (ISO or ASME) and units

Typical uses

  • Releasing a new design to production
  • Sending parts out to a new supplier for quotes
  • Bringing old or incomplete drawings up to a consistent standard

Formats

Deliverables in SLDPRT, SLDASM, SLDDRW, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, DXF, DWG and PDF — metric or inch, ISO or ASME drafting standards, on your title block.
